Can you post pictures of the door contact wiring , don't worry if it's mashed , we can see how you did it
-
I just wanna see the 12core, I think it was stage cable hence why so thin
-
Still in his name ie the domain
-
My G2 / G3 USB leads also continue to work with Win10.
You have time make them ?
-
Can also tell us what they quoted sensors etc?
-
I got some cheap 12core from eBay to, but it's was good cable , cheap 8core is a problem when stapling as it's outer sheath is a bit loose , switched to cqr instead
Hang on a minute!!! don't tell me you bought multicore stage cable ie for mics etc and used it on a gig I mean alarm install?
Come on man , you trying to copy h , you can never do it , plus I in que!
-
-
But you have some...
-
Ok but I really want to see 12core smaller than 4 core , and indont know the answer because I have never seen it , unless you mean a bigger size 4core of some kind like the old data cable and screened so it's chunky
-
Aldi have one on special buy this week
£35?
-
Ok if no 12core you have any pictures of 4mm twin and earth?
-
Neither me with you, now I really want to see this ultra thin 12core which is smaller than 4core
-
hopefully after a yr "hapoychappy" has either figured it out or given in
It's been that long...... To Much tsi!
-
Charlie Where's the pictures of the 12core next to the normal 4 core you use?
-
I see some risco boxes similar to the old abacus poly box 6/14 built in keyboard on the da though
Now, Where's the pictures of the 12core next to the normal 4 core you use?
Or they just look the same to you
-
Where's the pictures of the 12core next to the normal 4 core you use, or is it blag ? Or maybe confusion?
-
Line dropping isn't intruder , and if it as intruder you would have bell timers set
-
Ah, so it is possible, thanks so much for your reply !
What will happen currently, if the alarm is set, and the phone line goes down ?
I think I may look for a new company to look after the system.
You said line fixed now, so set it and disconnect it and see what happens , experiment for you
-
Get the installer to change the stop set , ie stop set on line fault to disabled
-
You marked zone 1 as kitchen door and front door , perhaps that's what he meant by dropping one off that
And you mentioned two keypads one in kitchen and one in porch , some keypads have a zone available onboard texecom I think so you could run off those instead of cabling back
-
The current panel I think is a basic Texacom (?)
There are NO magnetics on any of the external doors, just a few internal PIRs.
I might consider glass break etc, and possibly the speech dialler at a later date, this is why I'm considering a higher specification panel so I can extent/upgrade in the future....
Whilst I'm no expert installer I just want to be sure that I can set-up a Galaxy panel in the typical residential configuration (doors and PIR's only)
thanks
Read up on eol wiring , and perhaps get a galaxy g2-20 with cp38 prox keypad, as said above cheap to buy and will give you more upgrade options if you decide you need to
-
If companies advertise they are insurance approved , it means all there installs should meet the requirements of having a certificate , urn or not, so a piece of paper to certify every install shouldn't matter
I assume inspectors can select any install to check if they wanted ?
-
Can you post a picture of the thin 12core good few please with a 4 core next to it
Otherwise I don't beleiev you
-
Lol
Anyway urn is devalued now as police to busy or make you low priority lol
And won't attend haha
