Looks like he found his way up the menu to confirm devices.. You're not the first and won't be the last
Once configured and commissioned correctly, in my opinion it's the best wireless there is on market
Better than hkc?

Thanks Simlec, I accept it but that sounds a bit obvious to me. Surely with all the tecnical innovation about, a pir shouldn't false alarm if it's positioned correctly.
Nah man some pir false alarm for all kinds of reasons , some cheapy ones can do so with interference , poor installation ie plastics bent seen all sorts
But I never had a problem with Honeywell pirs dualtec or standard

I thought this bell won't sound unless you connect the +12v?
Disconnect bell for a while, then leave plus 12v to bell disconnected at panel, reconnect at bell end , move link , close all tampers at bell , ie close covers put screw in , then last reconnect +12v at panel end
Something like that

What models you after?

Lce card & virtual keypad app
Selfmon is another service which you don't have to take when using the above

any good with electronics? Might be an open resistor.
My favourite budget panel is the castle euro mini prox or for a wee bit more the euro 46 sm
Features my customers like is the prox reader, neat keypad and the intelligent set feature. It knows automatically by your exit route if your going to bed or going out so it picks part set or full set foor you.
Btw i didn't mean you were necessarily as tight as 2 coats of paint, its just a theme that regularly crops up in the diy section. I think you were right to be a bit wary of a £200 figure plucked out the air.
Can you turn that feature off, so you can part set and leave from the front door?

I have the virtual keypad running on a dimension , they use it in combination with remote cctv , works well
Costing biggest issue , £50 for a card £5 for the app , cheaper than the other cards
-
Yeah okay, why not, then plus vat which easily takes it to £200.
?
Accenta mini g4 bell box an pirs, les thank £100 get it fitted in about 2 hours fir less than £100
Pretty stable for a cheap replacement really
So pirs , keypad and control panel , fitted and tested with 2hours Labour
£200 from your company ?
I suppose it's cheap from you, is that your normal price timmo?

Of course, if a door bell cable has to why should cat5 be any different.
You also have to remember you have to comply to all parts of the building regs not just part P.
There are large parts that only apply to new builds and extensions for example you can rewire a domestic building and not have to comply with part M on heights of switches and sockets unless requested.
Ah don't worry lash it in, it was already there.......
-
Why is £200 too much for someone to come along who knows what he is doing and can make sure your life's possessions are protected?
Including parts?

Page 2 of the approved doc P (low voltage and extra low voltage)
You must also be installing to a minimum standard of BS 7671
What's that mean specifically to you?
All toys come under low voltage to

Most devices have some kind of engineer access right down to washing machines , mostly leaked out info on google , but should they have a right to access? Don't think so
Maybe new rules with quals will include transfer policy
-
Just search it's all online ,the app is on playstore
-
-
Set an ip address for the network card, enter that into the app and your done
Obviously you need to resolve the external ip problem if you don't have a fixed one
-
I think as a simple app the selfmon "virtual keypad" is allot better than the Honeywell version because it simply mimics the keypad on your phone , network card is cheaper to compared to the Honeywell version
-
Just upgrade then to flex and the Honeywell Ethernet and use the Honeywell app
Although don't know of any security issue with selfmon app

there is a lad here that does an app for the galaxy
strangly enough called galaxyguy
It's quite stable to

Or I meant what activated or went wrong may show in log
-
Did you investigate why the alarm went off at 1am? Apart from spiders there would have been an event or something in the log to tell you what activated it
Would help you perhaps decide what to do
-
Which adt model?
Fitting a network card maybe possible and then use an app
Galaxy Speaker Output Vs Sounder
