  10. I'd be not interested in touching a 9800, £80+vat to power it down, you'd have got the same answer 15yrs ago old tat out & new tat in a single visit, cabled measured before doing small euro + lcd power sonic the hedgehog size 7 battery flipping big pirs chunky contact glow in the dark ewd £400 + vat assuming the cables ain't short or damaged, I'm in 3rd world Northern town..
  11. 30 years ago ? 9600 was a smashing bit of kit as it had yes/no menu, something a euro has today bad software, bad menu's ?? Premier Elite has wonderful WFT about.... the other day I added a smartcom to Premer 24, the 6 inch of cable & dogshit plastic box fill my heart with joy...
  12. a 9800 could date back to the 1990's, buy a new alarm control panel with switch mode power supply ?
  13. the 500r was also tweaked to be a Yale alarm in the 90's with square yellow or white EWD (wired)
  14. Inside a yale round radio sounder is switch to disconnect it, whether the panel does a tamper or has polling..... I have no idea
  15. a euro will tell when & what each fault is via its log you can ignore or neglect your alarm & it will start beeping in the middle of night & piss you, your family & anyone you contact about undertaking a repair as its Christmas & we've already had 48 weeks of more of dealing with dickheads who spend 100's of thousands on a house & never have the common sense to get the previous owner to have the alarm serviced before they take possession of the property or think that anytime in the future it might be prudent to have the preventive maintenance done.
  16. or for less than £130 you can just buy some new controls https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/security-control-panels-c-36_102/lcd-remote-keypads-c-36_102_107/scantronic-ion-keyk01-keypad-p-3776.html https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/security-control-panels-c-36_102/110-input-zone-small-c-36_102_101/scantronic-ion-10-zone-alarm-control-panel-cw-keyk01-ion10k-p-5928.html
