Would just like to say hello and introduce myself. I joined this comunity a couple of years back but I was very busy at the time and had forgotten about it until having a browse around last night. My family and I moved up to Fife earlier this year from Surrey where I had spent all my life. I have not been working for a year due to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This didnt mix too well with my employment as a service engineer by //.National Installer.// Security for who I had been with the organisation for 14 years. I enjoyed the work greatly but the hours and pressure that I had been doing over recent years took its toll. I hope to return to work within the security industr…

I spent nearly twenty years responding to the fruits of your labours. I was a Firefighter in London but now I'm retired (medically unfortunately) and living in Sheffield. A friend from the service went into the fire alarm business and is doing really well. I would have joined him had it not been for the accident. Oh well. Carry on the good work. You have saved many lives, property and broken hearts. :

Hello to all We are Oracle Security Systems and have been running approximately 5 months, at the moment there is 2 of us, both called matt. We were working for a previous company who made us redundant and we felt instead of applying for jobs we culd set up our selves. So with plenty of hard work, time and money we are here!! We have had a few jobs so far mainly CCTV, which we have a probl;em with our supplier sending the wrong stuff or the cameras breaking down after a week, so if anyone has a good supplier with good prices we would welcome the support. So basically we are here for advice and to create new contacts. This looks a fantastic site for both so look forward …

Hello everyone, just a little note to introduce myself to the forum for the first time. My main background is in Telecommunications, installing PABX's and voicemail's, Cat5e & fibre optic networks. I took the plunge early this year to set up my own company in telecommunications (Taylormade Telecoms & Data). So I could broaden my opportunities I decided to also offer the installation of Alarms as a service and attended the course at pyronix then installed a few alarms for friends & my own property. I love technology and learning new skills. Whilst I have been installing Alarms, people increasingly ask me if i can install CCTV, Not wanting to turn down busine…
