Hello all, My name is Matt, I stumbled across your website whilst looking for an alarm installer. I run a home automation business that sells a software product which can integrate with the Texecom Premier alarm panels. I have a client in Essex who has a very urgent requirement (next two weeks) to have a Texecom Premier alarm panel fitted into his property. I am very interested in recommendations of Texecom registered installers in the Essex region who may be able to assist with this. New to this site but not the industry. This year will be my 29th, it doesnt seem 5 minutes since I started fitting alarms. My name is Nick Hood and I reside in the Cambridgeshire area. I dont quite remember fitting end of line batteries and record player signalling devices, but I do remember programming digital communicators with little screws. We fitted 8 track 999 dialers instead. We also had to make the control panels as most of them were only 2 zone as standard. My boss at the time had little 2 zone expader boards made that latched and gave out a negative supply, which we connected across the pressure mat zone. Just wanted to introduce myself, im 19 and run my own cctv installation company in wales. Only been established 4 months. It's nice to talk to people who know what they are talking about. Hi guys, came across this site because I did a search for it. I'm new to installing alarm systems and have a security employment background. Just got a new job a couple of weeks ago as an installers trainee and my boss has decided to put me through school for it. I'm 26, live in Perth, Australia and know absolutely nothing about electronic stuff at this point in time, so hopefully I will have a firm grip on it all soon, haha. From what I can tell, my boss has the highest standards of work that I have ever seen and knows more about the stuff we install than our tech support suppliers, so I am happy to be learning from the best. Hello All, Just joined today and wanted to say hello. I'm a qualified sparky working in the contracting industry. I'm a full member of N.A.P.I.T. I've done a bit of work with alarms etc, and have been lurking around this forum for a while and decided it's time to join. My electronics skills are a little rusty, though it's comming back as I've started doing a lot of home automation stuff this last year. I did study for an Electronic Engineering degree back in '92 but left in the last year and went back to being a sparky, (the love of plaster dust?!). Anyway, hello all
