Analogue Telephone Adaptor - Recommendations?

Featured Replies

I have a very old intruder alarm which uses an autodialler to contact ADT for monitoring.  I am about to be switched to Digital Voice by BT. I understand that I can use an ATA so that the alarm can still contact ADT via Digital Voice.

What ATA would be best for this?

Thanks!

You could try but there is no guarantee it will work properly. You will also have the issue that a power cut will disable the alarm signalling.

Best option is to upgrade the system/signalling to a more modern digital compatible one.

If its still under contract speak to them and let them sort it out.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

none are likely to work correctly when needed,

you either need a digiair as signalling up grade,

of replace the controls to one which uses an app

QFA they will charge to sort it out, but like most good companies they will have a solution
