July 9, 20233 yr Author comment_519519 For anyone else's benefit , think we have the final answer to why the Configuration Software will not connect. Below from the Risco FAQ section. Seems if the panel is connected to the Risco cloud via the IP channel ( and our panel is, with valid subscription ), the the Configuration Software cannot connect to the panel. Sort of reluctant to test / confirm this by disconnecting the panel from the Risco Cloud in case Risco then say " you can't reconnect , you are an end user etc etc" Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46074-is-risco-agility-3-rubbish-fix-or-throw-away/page/2/#findComment-519519 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 The control panels do odd things with age, defaulting & reprogramming can cure it (for a while) Alarm panels ain't consumer products, the manufactures are quite modest setups without the resources to support the end user, stuff like apps are under developed as they provide little or no income Alarm system aimed at the DIY market... lets say I'd rather have herpes than a Yale or ERA or whatever... alarm Mr Veritas God Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/46074-is-risco-agility-3-rubbish-fix-or-throw-away/page/2/#findComment-519520 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
