Oki are very good

But like alarms many of you buy cheap printers and buy twice lol

£100+vat appear about the right sort of money,  I'll never print enough to  wear the drum out

I assume the Dell was around this price point,

I was buying toner for it in 2017 but have no idea where the machine came from or how much I paid

You can pick A4 Mono Brothers up for less but the p/p is more if you use genuine ink.

On genuine ink the Lexmark mono lasers with 10k mono cartridges offer low cost per page,

But I'd wince at big toners coming in at 1.5 of the machine

Brother HL-3170CDW would be the newer duplex version of my colour laser which has been solid over the years. Friend of mine has a MFC-9340CDW and has been pretty happy with it, not sure how much

It's all down to the machine really, as the price of the machine goes up often the p/p comes down and the amount of pages before service increases.

printerland, state price per print & the toner pages count & drum cycles without having to look at the spec sheets....

the sweet spot is £100-£150ish for mono,

cheap is too cheap & going dearer they'll designed to print every document I'll do in year in week...

They are good to

I have an old Ricoh copier keep it going with eBay parts (used £250 had it 8years)

Kyocera multifunction (from new £300 3yeara old)

And a hp laserjet  (used, £50 I think it's old lol )

All printers get used plenty various uses

No point buying cheap printers with expensive cartridges or cheap printers which are throw away and parts.priced more than a new printer itself

Good reviews, don't kill it tho lol I assume your not doing masses of printing , seems like good equivalent for the old hp laserjet
