Mr th2.jpg Veritas God

if its proper monitored comms yes you would be notified of a line cut. Doubt the risk warrants g4 comms but trying to avoid you feeling a false sense of security.

It's a common problem with all texecom veritas panels with the voltage regulator    it doesn't even have to be overloaded for it to get very hot    I never seen one that has not had this problem   its just the design flaw all of these have

Just make sure to replace the battery and check the charger

Make sure you get around 13.6 volts on the battery leads

Thanks.

so i need to have 13.6 volts reading on the battery.

Is this without connecting to the panel ?

no it needs to be coming out of the panel so meter the leads with the battery disconnected.

Waiting till the battery has totally failed will usually kill the panel
