Subbies down south charge between £130,00 and £260 per day depending on there ability, to be fair the ones that charge £130 take twice as long as the ones that charge £260 so you really do get what you pay for.

Subbys in the civil engineering industry (digging holes and fixing water leaks) charge between £350-£400 per day ffs, where did it all go wrong? 

went out the other week & came home in taxi, £12 ish or £1.5 ish a mile,

Depends I have had to pay £260 a day before now, but I had no choice I needed to get stuff done. But it worked out quite well we had booked five days for the job, he did it in three, plus we had charged the customer a premium to get it done at short notice.
