DD is your man there, never used scannys not on pins. We use the new breed menvier/eaton now - with a mixture of pins and SIA.

There is good integration i believe with eaton. Its only hkc and pyronix blocking or planning to block iirc

Pyronix as well? Well then who else will be next means third party like webway have more difficulties ahead? Or not really

not really the market will demand 3rd party comms so panel sales will drop but peripheral sales will increase.

I'd prefer ingratiating of the "manufactues app" onto run on the 3rd party signalling product

eaton is the product to watch now - trust me.

Hope so as 2 way wireless (which, AFAIK, the iOn 40 panels onwards already could support - iOn 16 isn't field upgradable) is long, long overdue.

 

That and FAR more programmable options for zones such as cause + effect, links gal style etc...

 

The iOn is a decent, stable platform, just a bit lacking in features, so hope they don't try and reinvent that.

I am not sure they are too concerned about two way to be honest.

There is a new firmware in the pipeline that makes the range very flexible. But you could use zone follow like a galaxy link?

gen2 is also coming up. This will see the ion16 with web browser - then they are working through the whole range.
