I disagree Mr H, We have quite a few systems that we have migrated from the original Menvier etc, That are now on Texecom ID.

I loved it to be honest, I really don't understand why the concept hasn't continued.

For the same reasons the Map Six never caught on 

There was a replacement called oip never adopted by anyone but gjd iirc

If biscuits where still around for Grade 3 they would just have 5 legs instead of 3.

I think BUS detectors where a better idea, issue is your tied to one manufacturer then.

The biscuits are basically a chip, not an rfid device, distance isn't a problem.

Obviously these days the requirements are different, alarm and confirmation isn't a problem, masking is.

Typo

They were magnetic sensitive so had to be away from that. Also weren't supposed to extend the white leg so shutters, sealed stuff etc 'could' be an issue
