chris77 Posted March 14, 2015 Author Share Posted March 14, 2015 The software on main panel is 1.5 The main panel is connected to the P RIO just by 2 wire no power linked, all sensors take power from that P rio, ie between the two building is just two wire link. The only thing is the RF box its wired as end res - house key pad - ether net - main panel - rf box -(2 wire no 12v)- p rio - keypad - end res so the last keypad is powered by the rio. Technically rs485 does not require a common neg Orite, don't think I've ever fitted one which hasn't had something switched from it. Hence allways having a common neg.
