Nvq 3 In Security Systems

Featured Replies

I have been told that everyone who wants to work as a security service engineer will have to have a NVQ level 3 if they want to work as a service engineer. I have been told this comes into play in about 6 years time. I have got a city & guilds knowledge of security and emergency alarm systems. Does anyone know if this is true and I will have to get a NVQ ?

It's been rumored for over a decade. I wouldn't worry just yet . . .

I was told that when I was doing my NVQ too, it been like to for a while... but people that been in the industry over 10years get "granddad rights"

6 years? they cannot predict 6m never mind 6 years

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
