August 28, 201411 yr Author comment_397625 Obviously you guys are used to big budget system installs. Mines will be a drop in the ocean by comparison! Ideally looking for reliability and best bang for buck. All i see on the forums is pyronix. Seems to be very popular. Is this cause its cheap or because its a decent product? So looking at the 2 way wireless systems, If i remove remote cam capability and some of the higher end of the budget systems , then i am left with Pyronix Enforcer Visonic PowerMaster Texecom Richochet Scantronic I-ON16 Galaxy G2 Edited August 28, 201411 yr by imran999 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/37280-recommend-new-alarm-system-wireless/page/4/#findComment-397625 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 August 28, 201411 yr comment_397640 I-On 16 is very basic, and cannot have firmware upgraded ever. Only the 40 upwards has on board ethernet (the 30 can be upgraded but has no on board ethernet) However, its all academic as Scantronic (at the moment) is 1 way. Avoid unless you only want wireless fobs etc... and everything else is wired. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/37280-recommend-new-alarm-system-wireless/page/4/#findComment-397640 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 August 28, 201411 yr comment_397715 what about hkc sw1070, hybrid panel, 2 way, everything could be wireless if need be, even bells and keypad. They do both wifi and gsm moduals and a app for a smartphone to set/unset. And not very expensive in my opinion. August 28, 201411 yr Author comment_397802 Not fussed with the programming. As long as i have the installers manual, then i should be fine. I'm in IT and generally tech savvy.
