gsd
Hi my scantronic 9800 rkp was looking a bit mucky so I bought some wipes from b&q and cleaned it but it has damaged it and I would like to know how to repair the mark at the bottom of the keypad this is the upstairs rkp I have another by the front door many thanks
Lwillis
What did you wipe it with? Unfortunalty it doesn't look repairable and those panels are obsolete. IIRC the grey bit is some kind of sticker.
norman
Yes iirc they are screenprinted and it looks like you have removed the print. Either swap it over or try and look for a second hand one. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
gsd
Thanks the wipes are called big wipes and they are in a yellow container that rkp doesn't get much use as we set the alarm from the downstairs rkp every night I will just keep the flap shut until I get a replacement many thanks
emsgeorge
those wipes are for paint removal and heavy duty cleaning !. The warning on the side tells you not to go near delicate surfaces with them......... what was wrong with a slightly damp j cloth ?
