I've come across a slight issue. The cat gets in fine but the kitten isn't tall enough for the scanner to read his chip so it locked him out in the pouring rain for a few hours.

could the kitten not request a support ticket so you could open it remotely,..

I see. No udl paving slabs. I accidentally put one on the kittens paws too as I'd not put the light on in the garden.
