Lwillis
I stupidly "upgraded from the iPhone 3G to the HTC desire on the day of its release, what a pile of ***** that was.
matthew.brough
I love using iOS. I just can't seem to love android as a comparison. I started with a iPhone 3GS and upgraded to 4 & 4S. Also had a couple of iPads and just love the user experience of it. I would look at something else but I I haven't seen something I love anywhere near iOS. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
james.wilson
I hated it, worst device i have ever had. Great at web, fb, games, awful for trying to get any work done on it, terrible at being a phone. Binned it after 4 months and 2 replacements. For a bb 9800. Which was the complete opposite of the android. Great at call, great for work. Awful at everything else. Still would drop my lumia for a portrait slider wp8 tomorrow though. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. Lwillis
Got the wide an android phone for her birthday about 18 months ago and an iPod touch for Xmas just gone. Uses her itouch more, iMessages ,Facebook etc. she's now wanting an iPhone to replace her android phone. Personally I just find iOS easier, haven't really used android since the desire. james.wilson
Tablet wise ill get an ms surface pro or surface 2. Again i need something to work on not play on. Plus i cant develop on ios or android. id say the only major critism if wp is apps. But the main 2 have too much of a lead. But now wp8 runs the nt kernel app development is much easier then wp will get a lot more. The wide lol. Lwillis
Windows metro 8 is fine for touch devices but ***** on a normal desktop IMO.
james.wilson
I can go with that, i think metro needs touch. Run it on my laptop non touch now and its annoying. Will work well on touch though. Chicken and egg i guess, the laptop came with win 7, but one more reason for surface 2 to be amnounced Btw anyone seen a lumia 1020 securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. sixwheeledbeast
Landscape QWERTY keyboard. IR (for when you've lost your TV remote), Stereo speakers, run desktop like applications, USB hostmode, Wifi Hotspot, TV-Out, red or white flashlight, SSH, FOSS, replaceable battery, resistive screen with stylus. But I am sure we've been here before  The only device that I am slightly interested in is Ubuntu Edge, but I doubt I'll change for anything without a QWERTY in landscape. arfur mo
TBH, from Windows mobile, went iPhone 4 32gb i now have the 4s 64gb, wife has my previous 4 - and we have never looked back, but conversely i'm just not interested in the 5 despite larger screen. wife and i have so many 4/4s and iPad 2 gadgets, why bin that lot just because of the new connection? same applies (for us) to Samsung who are obviously the closest rival but not so obviously superior, never had a real play with jelly bean os but earlier Android renditions - are you kidding kids? while great eye candy, again is it worth changing gadgets and apps for a little (if any) advantage? i think Apple scored an incredible own goal over this new docking connector, pushing many of those who were considering Android to make the swerve away, instead of upgrading, just as i might have had to an ip5 if all the add on's had not been suddenly outdated for no real reason. Steve Jobs must be spinning in his grave! If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
Joe Harris
Desire screwed opinion on android for many - the memory and storage limitations on it were dire. Â That said - I love my SIII and am looking forward to upgrading to another Samsung model next year. Â
fozzies
My s2 is a great phone, one issue after 16 months, phoned up samsung, and they did a rtb repair. Came back with a spanking new battery. Upgrading on tues to the s4. I like the fact that i can customise everything on it. Rooted it ages ago, and inssider finds hidden ssid's Usb leads also, so no daftly expensive leads. Iphone experience tells me iphone iz easier to use in the first place, but once droid is set up properly, it eclipses iphone on useability, and ongoing costs too Imo of course Cant see me ever swapping to an iphone, something about the company grates on me. Imagine being locked to bluetoothing only to other iphones, and only able to faceview peeps if they also owned an apple device. Its anti-competition imo And when you start to loose marketplace, starting a sueing war too! In essense, fook apple. All their great inventions are demeaned by their blatant attempts to lock the market to them. Shame, coz the iphone could trully be the only phone, if only another company had developed it
Cubit
I find the iPhone a pain to use. Much prefer android. Moved away from Samsung's, found them to be a tad glitchy. Moved back to HTC with the One. Very impressive bit of kit.

arfur mo
we use tech we like for what to each individual is most important aspects. changing devices even control panels, is often a step into the dark. imho it takes time to realise what it s that you actually like most and can't live without, after the glisten of novelty wears off so a bit like being married tbh lol!
