Does anyone with time on their hands to quickly filter through topics and get a rough guide as to whether it is done by all or just a persistent few. Or even that a few on here only ever go off topic.

E.G. Someone starts talking about a cable type, Person A jumps in correcting spelling and life decisions, whilst using offensive writing.............

This done constantly is surely the biggest issue with going off topic

30 years of experience, ssaib approved family business.

We have a very long list of clients that we are very proud chose to use us. We have never bought out any other company or forced anyone to use us. All of our customers are free to leave us whenever they wish, yet very few ever have. This is down to the fact that we always put our best into every job.

2 different things there chris.

Point 1. Ive always historically like a thread to 'flow' but that great for those of us that are here a few times a day, but its well confusing for everyone else. Also makes the search system useless as the topic title rarly matches the topic content.

Im thinking it would be better that threads are kept relativly on topic and subjects thought of as part of that thread should be started as new threads.

where do the flowers fit into that??

I suppose the best way is if the thread is specific then split it where it starts to wander.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
