February 12, 201313 yr comment_305280 No idea who originally installed this, but it's the first time I've come across it before. Re-cabling the bell wire today in a domestic due to damage under the landing floor and whilst feeding the cable up through the under stairs ceiling with the rest, I noted that the 0.5mm flex to the panel also seemed to disappear up with the alarm cables. Sure enough, it's stapled under the carpet and around into the airing cupboard!
