Must I Use A Matrix ?

Featured Replies

I intend fitting 10 Dome Cameras. They are to be linked to a DVR,Keyboard and Monitor in the Managers office in the same building as well as three other monitoring and control points in offices 200 yards away.

So the kit would be 10 domes, 4 monitors and 4 keyboards with a 2Tbt DVR in the Managers Office. It doesn't really matter what kit as long as it's reliable.

Question - - is there a DVR out there with four monitor outputs or do I need to go down the Matrix route which obviously increases the cost somewhat.

Thankyou.

Could you do this through the clients network on their computers?

That's what I would be looking at to keep costs down.

I think the cobra elite from cctv direct has a main output and 4 seperate spots but i,m not sure how much control you have over them. I would give them a bell and ask
