Hello,

I have been thinking about alarm system for my house. What I really know that i want GSM system. Have anyone tried Eltech systems? Exact GsmAlarm-500? I have founded datasheets about it, but maybe someone has already installed such GSM panel? Thank you.

I cant see a reason why anyone would dream of using an obsure system particularly for a DIY project. I think you would be better of choosing a panel available in the UK rather than some foreign panel that you wont get UK support on. There are several well know systems Texecom or Scantronic that will have the same features, just as cheap if not cheaper, and people here will assist you if you are in over your head

Paradox ?

Back in the good old days of BS4737 & think very much pre interent the "paradox" system used to be advertised in the trade press,

Belive a system which could only use their detection ect as it is (or was) "addressable" to some extent?

Oddly I can remember a product that I never ever seen in the flesh, was anyone brave enough to try one ?
