Mr happy doesn't sound happy lol!

They sound like Risco/Gardtec Novagards. The horizontal one is the Nova 4 which we use, the vertical one is the Nova 2. Even with a blue strobe lense, the LEDs are very visable.

Did you ever come across the issues with the older Novaguard 2+T (IIRC) boxes where sunlight would expand the cover and trigger the tamper spring. This was around 12 years ago i would imagine, they were a pain when I used to do callout!
