External Sounder With Bright Led's

Featured Replies

I'm sure I previously had an account on here but couldn't figure out what it was if so.

Anyway back to the plot - I have seen some bellboxes that are rectangular (vertical) with a red lens across the bottom with very bright alternating LED's in them - can someone enligten me what make / model these are?

I had a customer today who got me to change their old bellbox for a new one because the LED's were so dim (well invisible due to the fogged up 17 year old plastic lense) - tbh the texecom odyssey 1 I put up wasn't exactly super bright either but at least will look like a pukka alarm box when it gets dark.

Thanks in anticipation

Chris

They sound like Risco/Gardtec Novagards. The horizontal one is the Nova 4 which we use, the vertical one is the Nova 2. Even with a blue strobe lense, the LEDs are very visable.

Had a look at the Novagard 2 - similar but it was definately a red lense on the ones I saw - LED's were outstandingly bright even in bright light conditions.

Or the new generation of Risco Lumin8 so bright at night the whole street knows you have one:D

I do think that also.

Only ever seen one that looked good, remember "Gus" . His ones do look good with it,

The picture I posted recently shows how bad they can look.

Quite a few springing up here, they look gash imo.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
