Ok so all of a sudden , for reasons i cant explain... Alarm master suddenly wont connect to word 2007

From contracts if i click documents then new document im getting errors such as "bad Parameter"

or an error such as Ole error 800A1704,

Also if i go to contracts then documents - Letters + documents - and try and run lets say a standard maint reminder ,

i get the error "Requested object is not available"

Anyone else had this or know a work around. Worked fine yesterday.

lol, we have had both 'Andy Peters (not that far off I guess)' and 'Gloria Hunniford' call from India.

all merginging within AM - Been trying to sort it the last three hours

Some people charge for advise like this.

Sound daft but we used to get these issues if one of the desktops had not been restarted for a few days. Failing that call PCData on Monday, maybe another one of their little tricks like extending table sizes bit by bit.

used to have to rebuild the tables (not done that in long while?)

when I had a single doc that would not merge, I renamed one that worked & cut & pasted the non working one on to it....
