used to have to rebuild the tables (not done that in long while?)

when I had a single doc that would not merge, I renamed one that worked & cut & pasted the non working one on to it....

They had to extend the tables about 5 times until i got sick of it and told them I will be paying for support forever so don't worry, just extend them as high a possible.

As for docs, thats how I made all of ours lol!

Try opening the merge docs from the AM file on C drive, that some times sorts it.

That produces the error " there was a problem sending the command to the program

Lol, got to love those that practice what they preach. They are not the best support wise but no updates for 9 years is not the best idea.

?? From the C Drive? Not from the AM documents button? If so i think it maybe a ms word issue.

True , and im only like 25 miles away from hull,

its never give me a problem before ,

how many times have i heard this!! we pay pc data hundreds in support each years and it's worth every penny..

I don't think I would recognise the system we used that long ago.
