of cable entries, room for wiring, etc... Smart PSU types excepted.

Ugly as you like though! Hardly costs much* to implement, even less to think about.

 

*Yes there probably is a moulding and tooling cost...

i like the layout, but a bit concerned about the small lid screws getting dropped.

If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!

thin, cheap plaggy/rubber washer @ the back each screw through the lid would be an easy fix for the manufacturer, suggest it tubbs.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
