scantronic !

i think its a case of what your used to.to be fair everyone will stand by the stuff they know best

sometimes even if its not that good.

look at rafiki fire alarms.sparkys choice installed with no chance of compliying to bs5839.

but if you ask them about it they say its great!!

sparks throw these in for a past time in the south west!

was fed up with scanny before the mosaic, used lots of thing but still rate TS networker

look at rafiki fire alarms

a fire alarm is either turn the key to acitvate controls or open the front door to get at buttons, plastic box & 532 to make buttons work is very bad idea before we get to think of odd ball detection

I'd have a look at Rafiki again. I really rate it.

You're turning into someone else here with your insistance on Rafiki and how good it is against the majority opinion - damage done imo!!! :P

dont get me wrong, i know (or have heard about) the previous issues with rafiki and if i had been affected by them id be very wary. Fortunatly we didnt use any of the early addressable stuff and have never had an issue with a twinflex. We only started using it say 4 - 5 yrs ago, by that time twinflex was sorted. Now that Fike have bought them and withdrawn anything that wasnt 100% the previous rep will fade imo.

We have fitted 3 quadnets now (all with more than 180 devices on them) and not had even a faulty head. Only issue we had were earth faults due to connection issues that the panel even helped us find due to the way it has isolaters built into every head.
