  1. I only use beams and detectors both wired and wireless for notification and external lighting only. Heating is by alarm set status not yet on a per room basis but i might do this.
  2. you wont be able to link them in that way. I do what your trying to do with beams and external sensors at home. It also controls my heating modes (ie away etc) based on set status also using ifttt. I get app notifications when armed and chime when disarmed But i dont use pyronix anything. Its HKC which is a pro installer only panel. You could get similar with more available kit, ie the spc or dimension but it wont be a simple programming job
  3. Sorry never used one. Pir wise I've used takex and redwalls
  4. Flexibility wise I'd go spc or dimension both will take rf too
  5. Pixel count is one aspect of many things that make up final image quality. Chipset and lens quality is more important ie 8mp digital cameras to not provide the same quality image if so why does anyone buy slr etc
  6. I'd use the optex beans but not the pyronix stuff. You might want something more powerful/flexible than an enforcer it's a basic cheap panel
  7. Probably not when your mains is off That's because they are not working properly, chances are they have never been serviced
  8. But as I said above it appears you don't set your alarm at night as it won't alert when it's arned
  9. A mains failure to the alarm needn't be a full house failure, could be a multitude of things and your TV would stay on
  10. Usually once you enter a code to acknowledge the failure it will be silent. Plus if its armed it is also
  11. remove all the cabling for it in the control panel, power and circuit. YOu will then have to remove the tamper from the loop and link out the circuit
  12. you will need to enter your code after powering it back up. Or press reset im unsure. But if you have faults it wont let you reset it till the faults are cleared, ie dont exist anymore
  13. Whats the models of what you have we may be able to work it out?
  14. thats the difficult bit for our sector. Office staff can be but the engineers have to have reduced hours
  15. When furloughed no you cannot do any work for the company that has furloughed you.
  16. i thought it started in china?
  17. Wow that's a hell of a bug with massive implications.
  18. Your still in full time education too
  19. Not by fw files. There is an app for upgrading that will have firmware contained in the exe
