  1. You may need to verify if the voltage at the camera end has dropped below the required level (usually 48V for PoE). You can test this using a multimeter or check the power consumption requirements of the cameras. Yes, installing a PoE switch instead of the splitter could resolve the issue
  2. You can use any DVR/NVR that supports IP camera streaming. You will likely need to input the doorbell's IP address and other details like the streaming credentials (username, password) in the NVR settings. Consider Using Hik-Connect App. Once everything is set up, you should be able to view both your IP cameras and the doorbell stream seamlessly.
