  1. I can see that but I assume you had a few quotes. As with everything they are not equal. Again I ask what u do for a living? My reason is you know in your trade what is good, what to avoid etc. In your trade is cheapest best?
  2. ie you bought the budget risco offering and even the better stuff is cheap. Did you want a cheap system vs a good one? That's why I was asking what you do for a living so I can compare?
  3. I know mate I was asking your profession.
  4. agreed but i didnt nick it
  5. this may sound like an odd question but what do you do for a living? I dont know risco but i believe the rf settings are quite critical in that menu. Also in risco's defence its not designed to be end user friendly in the engineer bits, good installers train on their preferred kit from the manufacturer. While i dont rate it, its still a decent bit of kit but far from diy. Im suprised you have had the help so far from risco.
  6. that be theft then?
  7. off the lopti?
  8. ffs al you don't install shite badly and quick?
  9. few pro installers would choose risco, imo have a search for nsi gold/nacoss
  10. it took dd to highlight
  11. defence is one phil was in the Algarve had to come home
  12. when you had the choice and you bought this system did you buy the cheapest one?
  13. bit late? just replace it for something decent, you need good rf point to rx.
  14. to be fair its probably knowledge. I'm not a fan but the kit does work, I'm assuming your doing it wrong. As your doing diy and risco are helping you on a product that is years old, you should look at the best supported pro product for diy. I wouldn't use it but quite a few on here do and hold it in high regard
  15. nice to see Texecom and Risco in a comparison
  16. sad thing is Gardtec was imo worth looking at. Risco isn't. Was cheap but shit hik will make Pyronix cheaper and ish. ill upvote a Texecom negative comment from a pro
