tap is awful please don't use it for anything other than newspaper delivery. A kid with a bike will probably tell you have had an activation before tap does. But its a free system so you get what you pay for

no, no point it worked fine for years till it broke, I did put new batteries in the remote tho but I doubt anything is trouble free at that age, security systems are expected to work for ever with no tlc. What else has the same?

I'm just saying be cautious. Fire is different. You say your are changing conventional sounders? In that case should be a simple swap. But as with all things your last to work on it. As long as your happy to take on all responsibility for the system, then it seems a simple job... -
