  1. It has a timer in it it, its law that they dont sound longer it wont be flat
  2. Button sticking perhaps?
  3. Really? Are you sure the smoke is not on the same mains? It is not the sort of noise that the intruder panel makes.
  4. What happened there? Did you accidentally hit the delete button?
  5. Great news! But just check the battery is charging by removing the mains from the system in a week or so, if the system goes dead again the charging circuit is fooked. If the system remains working then its likely you were lucky. Its better you do this during the day, rather than you find out in the middle of the night if you have a spike in the mains or powercut, your neighbors will be more appreciative
  6. I dont think you be able to, you need an installer account to set it up on the cloud its not a DIY product as far as I am aware
  7. Sorry Alan no such member, there is a member called Woosh though do you still have the email address that this account was set up on?
  8. Actually I just re read your post are you an installer?
  9. Have you opened the ports on your router?
  10. Assuming that the detector does not have eol resistors then that should be it just put a link in each circuit.
  11. All you can do is link it out you cannot program it out with the zone open on the Abacus panel
  12. Chinese tat, if you are desperate for work install it for more money than you would charge if you were supplying the kit yourself, allow plenty of additional time to decipher the chinglish manual. Make sure that they are aware that if the system fails you will charge for return calls if the kit is under warranty or not, and they will have to deal with the manufacturer over the warranty return and you will charge again to come and re install the replacement. People soon realise that the best way to save money is to get the installer to supply the kit.
  13. Sounds more like the external sounder tampered hence why it continued to sound after the code was entered
  14. The application was around the time the forum was down for a week, so it got missed Ill do it now
  15. I get it on Yandex and FFox its a PITA Ive told James but he just keeps saying he could have me in a fight.
  16. Its constantly recharging, it is powering your alarm, and the mains is charging it. After four years the cells breakdown and they are no longer able to hold the charge. Hence why the panel was reporting power trouble. Leaving replacement longer eventually kills the charging circuit of the control panel and replacing the battery doesnt fix the fault (Well it does for a few hours/days)
  17. Im sure it says trbl mains if its mains
  18. Probably best, an engineer should find your problem quite quickly
  19. I would normally allow 1amp per camera, so a 2amp psu will run 2 cameras. But first you need to check if the existing PSU's are working because if theyre not you need to find out what caused them to stop working. Before you fit any new ones
  20. You need to check that the power supplies are working. If the new camera was faulty or you accidentally shorted the cable, this could have blown all three supplies. With a multi meter you will be able to tell what voltage if any is coming from the supplies. You lose current through cable, you should cut the cable to length rather than having excess coiled up.
  21. Do you have a multi meter?
  22. Have you disconnected the new camera to see if the other 7 come back on?
  23. 250mA per camera is not enough imo, the IRs would draw close to that. The camera that failed at night was it the furthest away from the supply?
  24. Is 2amp power supply powering all 8 cameras?
