Oh yes, my college tutor made me sit a whole day soldering links onto a breadboard until I got it perfect. Before then I was always the first one to finish any project work he gave us, but mine never worked as my soldering was so rubbish. Now my soldering is higher than average, and everything I build works first time, if it doesnt I can be confident that its a faulty component

I see this sort of stuff on FB all the time this one has just popped up, now I understand this is a beta version but we know that even beta tested stuff with some manufactures wouldn't be released without making sure it works

The problem would be the server its polling, if that server its polling doesnt tell you that its not receiving the polls then there is no point. Polling via a Alarm Receiving Centre is the most reliable way to prevent this sort of targeted attack. and that is what I would recommend if you want to be sure From what i can make out the Texe Pyronix and Risco app based alarms have all gone down regularly in one way or another. Not sure about Honeywell and Eaton but HKC has been 100% more reliable than the other three. Either that or just use GSM, hide your router, make sure that the BB line cannot be tampered with from the outside if you really must go self monitoring and you feel you could be targeted in this way

Most people that come here dont like a great big ugly burglar in their house LOL! Seriously though there are several are many alternatives out there depending on what where the controls can be positioned. The biggest problem you will have is that the cables all terminate at the panel, and so they will need to be re-routed to the new panels position, best to call the company that installed it and ask them for a quote to update it

I am guessing that this is an abandoned building, I am surprised that the power is on. Logan I am sure that you already know this but you really should not be on top of a lift messing around in an abandoned building. There are so many things that could go wrong, I really wouldnt want to see you get hurt ,or worse, like us get into trouble because we knew you were doing this stuff and didnt say anything

Somewhere near the McVities factory, the town centre seemed to have more druggies and drinkers than average for my liking. Stayed in a village where the beach had a big factory (I say beach it was more like a big muddy river/harbour) and the houses and pubs looked a bit run down. While I was there I visited Edinborough (nice but set up for tourists) Lakes very nice, Hadrians Wall (not what I thought it would be) on the way home we did the Dales very nice

Ive had a few minis including one with a 1360 engine that went like stink, they held the road like nothing else but I couldnt see how you would survive a proper accident in one
