  1. Im guessing you have two? the second is probably a dummy box with deterrent leds
  2. Ive never forgotten to set my alarm .....but then I have seen enough houses that have been burgled in my lifetime to make me not forget. There are decent alarm systems out there that you can arm by app. But you could just use HA and geofencing via tasker on every ones mobile phone to arm it, if you are that lazy.
  3. Fixed You will need a different panel altogether, but you could still use the existing sensors
  4. No they are all normally on the same aux fuse with an Accenta, in any case they fail in alarm so you would not be able to set it. As SWB says the Leds on the BB may be indicating a problem but it would be unrelated to the pir, try setting it and moving around in front of Z5 if the alarm goes off the Led on the detector has failed, that would also give the bell a test at the same time.
  5. When you say flashing red if you mean the LEDs' it supposed to, its a deterrent light. What makes you think the motion detector zone five is not working? is it because the light doesnt come on when you move? If its in a bedroom the led is probably switched off
  6. It was brand new from ebay it even has the original installers phone number on it
  7. The panel is obsolete but you may find one on ebay or somewhere, its a straight swap if you have the same keypad
  8. Hi and welcome to the forum, Unfortunately we are unable to provide defaulting information on this website.
  9. if all the terminals are tight and the spring is good then I would say dry joint somewhere on the rkp. Though the top of the rkp PCB looks like its had some water damage thats spilled out onto the label in the lid
  10. Hi and welcome, you sent a blank message to vetting today. If you were actually applying Im gonna need a bit more than that please resend ta
  11. OP unfortunately this forum is UK based, the product you mention is not one I have heard of, but even so, every country has its own protocols when it comes to security. Which means that its highly unlikely that anyone outside your country would be able to help. Most panels can be defaulted another installer in Cyprus will be able to help
  12. Recycle the power and start again would be the easiest if you dont know what you're doing
  13. S Class you must have seen it when we met at Peckham?
  14. Its not like you haven't seen what I drive LOL!
  15. I had my best financial year last year despite all the Covid stuff going down. I just hope it continues only with less Covid. Happy new year everyone!
  16. As above there are no benefits using your existing dated system. However, you can buy HA motion detectors to do what you need and they will work flawlessly. I have a decent alarm system with input output units coming of my alarm system controlling lights for courtesy, to make sure all lights are off when the system is fully or part armed, and of course to switch on lights in sequences when the system goes into alarm to give the appearance that someone is at home. I do it this way because I know the limitations of my alarm, but its not the way I would recommend a diyer or an experienced HA'er should do it, most experienced HA guys would laugh at the way Ive done it
  17. Good to see someone into HA with a proper alarm, instead of the usual 433mhz one way wireless tat many of the you tubers promote
  18. The panel hasnt been made over 10 years and that was the most recent keypad they madefor that panel, so sadly the only way to update it is to replace the panel and keypad.
  19. Most people think a bigger battery is better, but the transformer is only 1amp so it cant charge a flat 7Ah battery. Plus how long are you planning on having power cuts for ? 8 hours 12 hours 24 hours? 3.4 will cope for around 12 hours on a 5 detector 1 bell 1 keypad system
  20. HKC tech zones? We made a led panel up for a huge toy factory with loads of beams in the roof. Before we did this they would get to the main entrance and try to set the alarm only to find a beam interrupted somewhere. The leds told them there was a problem before they left the warehouse
  21. Bit of a Paragon there Dave you could have accenta bill in for that my little rascal countess, from windsor
