  10. watched the latest 2 then binge watched from the beginning , just finished watching - "Spring has arrived at Harry's Farm and the wheat fields look a mess" so now all upto date he's can't be short of £ if he's got a patek philippe watch, which is being worn at "work"
  11. Harry's farm £1.7 kto have the combine serviced before harvest £500- 1k for the belt that broke during haverst 9 knifes needed replacing the wobble thing got fucked as well... should a cow, sheep or alpaca drop dead on the farm, its 50 notes to pay for the hunt to get rid of the body when your gate & posts is taken out by a motor car, the police or the recovery people won't tell the driver details due to GDPR to allow you to claim of your insurance £8k for 2nd hand straw do dar.. & grain sells for £350 a ton, suddenly being an alarm monkey looks well paid
  12. Need to get working software / machine But have gone off on a tangent doing other projects. I've also been out on the tools doing bits- Today I nailed an enforcer contact onto this door- its right draughty, they should save up & get a nice uPVC one...
  13. Gaz, however I suspect he''ll sound like Sid the Sexist will Alexa understand the accent
  14. Surely you could have made the effort & posted a picture of an arn-1e ?
  15. as I under stand it, changing the programming has no effect there just options ? the devices have a site code & a zone select on the dil switches changes these takes it off the system, its dumb & the field devices are unsupervised ? the panel will either reset off your code or need power cycle unless an alarm man has been & poked with a screwdriver recently it unlikely that it been working properly for 25yr, even though you might set it every day & it never false alarms...
  16. **edit** take your pic any commercial control would do the issue you'll have the amount of current drawn, if your doing DIY & have not moved an over expanded set of controls about you'll have an interesting learning curve.
  17. @sixwheeledbeast I was looking at the same USB thingy before you posted... USB sockets ? no worse than the issue with a lighting circuit with bulb, transformers & pir's ? He's a Scotsman living in Yorkshire....
  18. its from the era when more than 16 circuits was rare & expensive.... 10 latching sensors on one zone complied I assume there's more than 1 large steel box for the controls ?
  19. they can do odd things like the above or continue to sounder the internal alarm after you've silenced it... they appear to play up more with age, l'd rip it out & put something new in
