Hi there, I have been introduced to this site by a friend and colleague. ( well a sales rep actually! - but he's not a bad bloke) It looks like you are all very helpful although some of you seem kind of whacky. First and foremost I enjoy diving ( scuba diving!) hence the name .... but for my sins I have to work in the security industry. Here at Safelink we don't get involved in Alarm systems but if there is anything you want to know about door entry or access control, I'm your girl. Look forward to conversing with you all. www.safelink.co.uk

Hi - I'm new to the intruder industry but am trying to get the best advice guess that why i'm on this site. Very impressed so far with the content. I've worked in lots of different industries and never had this kind of resouce and I hope given time i can also contribute. At the moment I am doing C&G1852 intruder at a local college, take exams in June. Anyone have any thoughts on this course and its relevance to the industry? Recently I have seen a few job adverts asking for this qualification. Is it true that soon everyone working in security will need this qualification or similar?

Hi there, you all seem switched on, and the whole website seems very worthwhile. Been in business for over a year now after spending 8 years with //.National Installer.// Glasgow and 10 years of electrical contracting before that. Busy as hell, hit the ground running, havn't stopped since. Wish I'd done it a while ago. Only thing is 99% of my contracts is from //.National Installer.// and I've been too busy to approach other contacts. So all my eggs are in one basket. Think I need to expand, but that creates another set of probs.
