Hi all, I'm another new guy and been installing CCTV equipment about 2 years. I had a bit of a steep learning curve...... 196 camera system (going up to 208 when the PO comes thru) a Pelco 9760 matrix and 13 x DX8000 DVR's played with active and passive NVT equipment, oh yeah the cameras were Spectra III SE's, esprits and statics, that was a fun 6 month since then I've been struggling, the 4, 8 and 16 camera systems seem to be a pain in the A**E after that lot being serious I fell into CCTV after 20ish years as a sparky and fell on my feet when a subcontractor walk out (happy days) Richard

I'm new here but this seems like a great place to get some good technical info. My reason for registering is that I have a couple of Dennard 2050 domes 1 of which is fine and works great, but the other has a siezed servo motor. I've removed it but I need to get hold of another one. Anyone got one or know where I can get one from. Look forward to hearing from you.

I'm an engineer currently working in an unrelated field, and use cctv systems in a non-profit way in wildlife and biological work. I have recently acquired some Sensormatic SpeedDome 2000 units and would appreciate any info on the basic connections to the main connector - P3 I think it is. There are red and black wires cut off at one end of the 7 way connector, 3 wires into the next one, the middle one is empty, 3 more into the next, then a green and a white into the last two. I'd like to know where the 24V AC goes in, and the 2 wires from the controller. I could guess, but I'd rather not ) Does anyone here remember these domes? Thanks in advance, Dick.

Ihave an Accenta alarm on the house which works fine. However, we've lost the instructions and don't know how to use the zoning feature. All we can do is turn it on and off for the whole house. I would like to set the downstairs only (at night) or occasionally set everywhere but the kitchen. The zones are clearly marked on the control panel so can anyone tell me how to utilise this feature of the alarm? Hmm?
