Hi everyone, live in london been servicing, installing and commisioning for 2 years now qualified Gent SMS and just sat the morley commisioning and networking course and just started a C&G 2330 course. Hello to all. Just came across you all whilst trying find an old fire alarm manual. I run a electrical business in Swansea and Install and service/ test fire alarm systems. I work mainly for landlords and property companies. Just taken on another contract for another 24 buildings with another 10 panels I have not seen before and If I had any hair I would pull it out. On a positive side it is friday and if I wasn't self employed I'd have the weekend off. Honestly, good to find this resorce and I hope in the future I can help other members also. best wishes John

Hello to all New to the forum, and site to be honest, I was pointed in this direction by a friend when I asked for some info on a control panel, now suffering from brain overload ... too much information! Great site with toooo much to take in but will make it a regular pit stop, well done to the owners. As I mentioned above, I'd asked my mate about turning the internal entry/exit sounder down on a control panel, he had a few to show me but not the one my neighbour is waking the street with ... well ok, the neighbours either side (including us). Hello all, Newbie browny here, please go easy!! I have previously worked for two ssaib approved companies and have now moved to a company looking to get approval by either of the big two! Would prefer to go ssaib as i feel they are more proffesional but open to suggestions Is there anywhere I can download a basic commission form for security alarms for us to go off? Hi folks, I just happened to stumble across the site when searching for a dialler and I have to say there a lot of brilliant threads with very good advice. I also noticed the Sparks get a lot of abuse im one myself, been at it about 14years and love it. Although im mainly in to heavy site work any thing up to 300mmSQ I fit the odd alarm mainly for friends and family as a favour and use the Texacom range.
