Hi ,

The 2 plus can be set-up to indicate mains fail ( beep every 5 secs ) , also reset required ( beep every 3 secs ).

Any other beeps are as said , either smokes or a flat phone battery.

I have just turned the mains electricity on and off. That has done the trick. It must be a power issue, but still don't know what caused it or what it really means. I must get it seen to. At least the bleeping has stopped and will sleep tonight.

don't count any chickens as theres a few hours to go yet :whistle:

really would advise to get an engineer pronto, you don't want to risk be paying xmas/boxing day rates - trust me :cold2:

get a 'guestimate' before engaging one though

Yes, sorry, I meant off and back on. Was getting a bit tired last night - the incessant bleeping was like torture.
