Hi Guys I've done a self install but suddenly out of nowhere got an internal alarm going off

The completed alarm has only been fully set up for 2-3 days

Ive a sneaky feeling its the external alarm box tamper thats maybe dodgy?

It says Auxiliary Tamper, I checked all my Ricochet Mesh Technology Items, Keypad, PIR ETC No issues came up

can anyone tell me if my wiring looks OK please?

So you have it wired as a Grade 3 bellbox and it's maybe failed one of the G3 self tests I'd guess?

Assuming you have everything wired and programmed correctly on a Premier panel that is.

Everyone assumes G3 is better, in reality its just far more sensitive. G3 is a difficult one to get right for seasoned pro's. Anyone that really needs G3 would have it installed professionally, its usually an insurance requirement, or in our case an MOD site. If you're going down the DIY route its likely that the type of burglar your likely to get is unlikely to be able to circumvent a G1 system.

looks poorly terminated...

I fix them with two x 3x10 & one x  2x10 screws

A tamper fault is most likely to be the small machine screw needing releasing to make a good contact.

odd product, you can remove the outer cover & throw it away with out the alarm goinoff,

the internals are all clear plastic, the drop down lid has a machine screw to make contact with the mirco switch,

the adjustable lower fixings stand off the wall by 30mm hence 3 inch screws,

Thanks for the replys but is there anyway i can prevent this?

Whats the best thing to do i working on it now?

IS the AUX Fault for the bell box for sure?

Is it a bad tamper switch? or my wiring wrong?

Does anyone know the settings for it? in the setting up?

the way its wired?

Im releasing the small plastic cover tamper screw so should press against the switch better and tidying up the wires as i put a nought in the outer sheath!
