Ademco Accord 8 - won't arm

Featured Replies

Hi - hopefully someone will be able to help me out. I have an Ademco Accord 8 alarm, just this last 24 hours it doesn't seem to want to arm properly. When entering the code and pressing Full Set as normal, there is a beeping noise and all of the zone lights are on solid red. It just stays making the noise until I put the code in again. Any ideas how to get it back to normal?

Thanks

What lights are on? Do the detectors light up as you move in front of them? When was it last serviced?

As Pete when did you last service it. That will give us a heads up aa to how cared for it is and what state its in

Normally zone lights while setting would indicate fuse blown.

You would need a multimeter and some knowledge how to use it to find out why.

Systems need regular service or they are not reliable, some people are lucky and get away with it for years... until there is a power cut and find the whole system is shot from no maintenance.
