How can I locate a CPU box associated with a Concept 6 alarm from the early 1990's.  I have been told that I need to locate the Central Processing Unit box in order to deactivate it.

 

I have looked high and low for the CPU bat have been unable to locate it.  Is there an easy way to find the CPU or is there a specific location that it would have been placed in?  The wires from the rear of the external box travel inside the front bedroom and presumably under floorboards.  Would it have to be sited vertically?  Would it have to be located within a specific distance from the pad or external box?  Could it be deactivated/removed without finding the CPU?

    Its a white box about A4 with a red light on it could be in a cupboard or in the loft follow the wires from the detectors

    Understair cupboard?
