Scantronic 9651 unusual fault

Featured Replies

Scantronic 9651 alarms even when on installer mode, keypad does not show any faults or fault code, on log menu no fault activity shows, all voltages and tampers working ok, is this apanel fault?

After reset and on user mode alarms. but again no fault code on keypad, again log does not show any faults.

yes bell box rings so does internal bell

external  bell plus internal bell rings but no display on keypad and no log information

default & reprogram,

if it does it again , replace controls after check the cables....

is this just a system just a single EWD, 1 keypad, 1 speaker & a handfull of pir ?

id assume the internal bell is connected to the external and isnt a speaker. Id go with a tamper on one of them but would need to see pics of how its wired

Could be bell/panel or wire between. depends how it's all wired.

If external tamper was linked and bell duff could feedback to internal with no log events, for exmaple.

External bell tamper not Linked.

internal bell is a speaker, i have checked the wires to external bell with a meter and all 5 cores tested ok.

Yes I do suspect external bell but passes bell and strobe test.
