I’ve been told these are genuine

bought from Map Security

not sure what to do now

They look like castle fobs but have been told that some older third party fobs do not work on v10

Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company

There were a few buggy versions of the enforcer where the system speaker would intermittantly induce a voltage in the tag reader coil causing a code guessing FA.

At the time pyronix tech support were suggesting the "fix" was to disconnect the tag reader from the pcb. I declined to do this and RMAd the panel, but perhaps your installer followed this advice?

Oh hang on, i see its v10, i think this was 9 and below.

Similar thing on the older version of the quantam70 hkc, newer versions have had hardware fix , older versions would I terfere with reading the process tag on entry or when a constant tone came through the speaker

We had problems with Pyronix fobs recently, ours worked for the older castle and the hard wired products, but they didnt work for the newer Pyronix products. We found that another password has been added to the newer fobs in order for them to work. Maybe something Hik did ? We sussed the new password and reprogrammed our fobs so problem solved. We can now produce a fob that works with all panels which saves our engineers carrying loads of different brands

You stars loll

That's what we want instead of various fobs from different brand or even at l3ast diff frequencies etc.. maybe 2 different types max 3

Considering the same tags works on galaxy, Eaton, scantronic, gardtec, visonic etc..

Sorry to revive old thread aswell
