durcanservices
The mag locks on an internal door of a commercial office building aren’t going to be there to prevent intruders, that will be the job of the external locks and intruder alarm systems. These internal locks aren’t going to be a non compliance, but I would agree that you inform the building owner of the risk from such a design and offer them a more secure solution. Non compliant for what ? Access control? satsuma01
What about changing the fixings for the mag locks.to the frames to security screw type fixings with none standard heads or needing.the proper tool.for.the screw or.bolt removal "If you carry your childhood with you, you never become old. Why rush to end life when happiness is in the blissfulness of childhood innocence.""We all die, the goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will." 07475071344 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41424-maglock-on-wrong-side-of-door/page/2/#findComment-472208 Share on other sites
sixwheeledbeast
It's not the fixings that's the issue. You can easily pop a mag, as it relies on the contact surface area. 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41424-maglock-on-wrong-side-of-door/page/2/#findComment-472209 Share on other sites
