Roller Shutter Doors Via Rela

Featured Replies

You shouldn't break neutrals for anything!

I imagine using a relay from a programmed output to trigger the emergency stop input?

Why not a lockable isolator?

they dont want to have anything to do with the shutter side.. all they want to do is turn the alarm on and know the door is isolated...

i was going to use a relay to break the common live that goes to the remote.. the remote has three wires.. Common live, up and down..... either the common live or the up... maybe the up... that way it can still come down... hmmm... so many options..

You will also have to think about faults , with a fault he can't open the door at all, so you will still need some kind of override feature ,with the obvious secondary door access or manual shutter pull and so on

Basically possible to do with other problems to go with it

the fault bypass i was going to use was a tampered keyswitch..

Could I electrocute it and blow the panel and box and coms in one go?

That'll teach any burglars a lesson they won't forget...

With the added bonus you can catch up with URN paperwork back at the station.
