enasecurity
Evening all, I've gone to go out and arm my texecom system today, however when pressing 'area' to quick arm, the keypad produces a long beep and says 'keypad locked!' I have tried pressing yes and no down together to unlock the keypad, but it doesn't seem to work. Wintex works fine though. Will it be a case of power cycling the panel or am I overlooking something? sixwheeledbeast
Keypad lock is built in to the keypad AFAIK. Maybe a button is stuck stopping you from unlocking it?
PSE
Press Yes & No,. Not Yes & Down

The OP said Yes and No. Doesnt always work correctly by pressing at the exact same time, I always demonstrate to customers by keeping YES pressed in, before pressing NO

enasecurity
I was quite close to using a brick to unlock it! But thanks PSE, the trick worked!
secureiam
always done yes and no, rather than at the same time hold down yes and no. only other lock is a code lock which should reset its self after x hours, but don't get many of them. Brick is always useful in your tool kit....lol Edited June 10, 2016 by secureiam
