Being from Manchester its safe to say i have come across the ADE panels wired on positive return on one piece of 8 core cable, blew my mind at first lol. Never knew a carpet fitter could take a whole system out in one go  haha and as for servicing of the alarms, well wouldn't want to be in Oldham just after a power cut that's for sure
