Two Way ? Prove It.

Featured Replies

Is it defined anywhere that anyone claiming that it is a two way system, it has to meet a set criteria? (might be a better question may be?)

Why would it be? How could it be?

If the devices can both transmit and recieve from the control pan3l, its a 2 way system.

The detail of polling rates etc... is important, but not really needed to say 'yes' or 'no'.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

true two way is hkc, i think texecom is too but never tested it. Many claim the worst is visonic claiming it on the system (power stuff) when it was only the fob

Texecom is 2 way mesh.

Visonic seem misleading, when it comes to 2 way and 1 way kit.

I believe that Powermax is 2 way but mostly 1 way devices, PowerMaster is 2 way AES-128 no idea on devices.

Think the ops post is answered,

why?  so that people know how it should work if it claims it is two way.

How? you can make a standard for anything  (EU???)

if 1 part of the system is 2 way then great. Inferring that its a 2 way system when the only 2 way part is a keyfob. That unit has 1 way detection. IMO misleading saying its 2 way
